At GLU GLU PET we have Versele-Laga NutriBird A-19 High Energy which is a complete food for hand-rearing all baby birds with high energy needs. Scientifically compounded for optimal growth.

NutriBird hand-raised pasta should be used when circumstances require:

– Bad reproductive couples: when some couples have already had experiences of reproductive problems.

– Valuable birds: we do not want to take risks regarding the behavior of the parents during breeding.

– Too many young: some species (eg, cockatoos) have a natural tendency to raise only 1 or 2 young.

– Large age difference: hatchlings that are too small can be oppressed by their older nestmates. In this case, as in the previous one, we can choose to remove the smallest hatchling or the largest hatchling from the nest.

How to use:

NutriBird A 19 paste for hand rearing is prepared by adding boiled water. The proportions of the mixture depend on the age of the chick and must be strictly adhered to. Use the attached table to prepare the pasta.

It is advisable to carefully measure the quantities in the first preparations.

1. Mix in a small container the amounts recommended in the table of NutriBird brood paste A 19 with hot water. Given the harmful bacteria that tap water can contain, it is highly advisable to boil the water first or use bottled water.

2. Vigorously mix the paste. Let stand a minute. If it is prepared properly, it ends up obtaining a thick porridge.

3. Allow the resulting porridge to cool down to 39°C.

Before administering it, stir well again to prevent the water and paste from separating.

Attention: the porridge has to be freshly prepared for each meal. Therefore, it is convenient to prepare the food in small quantities.
