ELEOCHARIS SP. 'MINI'

It is a moss similar to Christmas moss, which always tends to grow faster, it is native to Asia, it is very easy to maintain as it is harder than other mosses, it is very resistant, it does not need CO2 for its good growth and it is not very demanding with the chemical needs of the water, adapting to aquariums with both hard and soft water. It is not demanding with light needs, we can keep it in aquariums with 0.5 w per liter without problems, although its growth will be somewhat slower. At the time of rooting it in the trunk or in the rock, we must hold it with thread and not very dense the plantation to prevent part of the moss from rotting when the light does not reach it.

Weeping moss is one of the few plants in the aquarium trade that slopes downward, grows relatively compact and dense without constant pruning, and perhaps most importantly, is very easy to care for.
